Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib
Professor of Urology and Pediatric Urology at Cairo University and Fellow of McGill University, Canada
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, class of 1997, with an Excellent grade with Honors. He obtained his master's degree in Urological Surgery with an Excellent grade with Honors in 2001.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib traveled to Canada (2003–2004) to conduct his PhD research on using Holmium laser in benign prostatic hyperplasia (HoLEP) treatment. He received his PhD in Urological Surgery in 2006.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has specialized in using the Holmium laser for benign prostatic hyperplasia (HoLEP) treatment since 2003 in Montreal, Canada.
● Since 2004, Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has been using this modern technique to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia in Egypt. He has treated thousands of cases using this technology. In addition, he specialized in using lasers for urinary tract stone fragmentation (Laser Lithotripsy), whether in the kidneys, ureter, or bladder, using flexible and semi-flexible endoscopes.
● His second area of specialization is pediatric urology. Few urologists combine expertise in both pediatric and adult urology. Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib spent six years at Abu El-Reesh University Hospital, affiliated with Kasr Al-Ainy, the largest specialized pediatric hospital in the country, receiving complex referral cases from all over Egypt.

● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib is an expert in prostate treatment using Holmium laser technology (HoLEP). He holds a PhD from McGill University in Canada, one of the world’s top three centers for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) treatment.● He has a subspecialty in the treatment of prostate conditions and urinary tract stones using laser technology and flexible endoscopy, in addition to the detection and treatment of prostate cancer. Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib was also among the first physicians in Egypt to use laser technology in benign prostatic hyperplasia treatment since 2004.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib specializes in urological treatment for adults and children. This is a rare specialization due to the sensitivity of the area and the young age of pediatric patients. He gained extensive experience over six years at Abu El-Reesh University Children's Hospital in Egypt, which greatly enhanced his knowledge and expertise in pediatric urological surgeries.

● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has more than 20 years of experience and leadership, during which he has performed more than 5,000 urological surgeries for children and adults.● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has 20 years of experience in transrectal ultrasound and transrectal-guided biopsy, performing over 200 procedures annually.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib is a member of the organ transplantation team for both pediatric and adult patients at Abu El-Reesh University Children's Hospital and the King Fahd Unit at Cairo University, with over 370 transplant cases. He is also the head of the donor team in the organ transplantation unit at Al Safwa Hospital, where more than 600 transplant procedures have been performed since September 2010.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib is committed to actively participating as an international speaker at local and international conferences, attended by a large number of foreign experts. His aim is to exchange global expertise and advance the field of urological surgery in Egypt and the Arab world.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib is keen to share his expertise in the use of minimally invasive techniques, especially in the use of holmium laser in the treatment of prostate enlargement and the use of flexible endoscopes in the treatment of urinary tract stones, with his colleagues by organizing lectures and training workshops in all governmental and educational hospitals in various governorates.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has conducted over 40 scientific studies published in the most prestigious journals specializing in urological surgery worldwide.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib contributed to the establishment of the Mediterranean Minimally Invasive Surgery in Urology Society (MMISU) for advanced urological endoscopy, aiming to transfer and exchange expertise among colleagues. Additionally, he has participated in all urology conferences organized by Egyptian universities and performed surgeries that were broadcast live.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has conducted training workshops on using the Holmium laser for the treatment of prostate and urinary stones in Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Germany, Yemen, and Algeria, where he trained fellow doctors in these countries on this advanced technique.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has hosted a number of urological surgeons from other countries to attend surgeries with him and receive hands-on training in the operating room for Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP). Surgeons from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Algeria, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, as well as other countries such as Russia, the USA, Germany, Turkey, and Spain, participated in these events.
● Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib has supervised more than 20 master's and PhD theses in urological surgery, particularly in laser prostate treatment.
Regional Training Courses:
1. Jordan: Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib visited the University of Jordan in Amman twice, where he performed more than 10 cases of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HOLEP).2. Kuwait: Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib visited the Military Hospital in Kuwait, where 7 cases of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HOLEP) were performed. Additionally, he makes regular annual visits to Al Ahmadi Hospital, where he performs more than 10 cases during each visit.
3. United Arab Emirates: Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib participated in two workshops on Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HOLEP).
4. Lebanon: Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib participated in a workshop on the role of flexible ureteroscopes in urology.
5. Germany, Munich: Dr. Enmar Mohamed Habib participated in a hands-on workshop during the annual European Association of Urology Congress (EAU16) on Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HOLEP).
